Our Story
The Mercy Seat Foundation exists to serve members of the body of Christ in times of need and crisis. Through prayer, generosity, and practical action, we aim to reflect the mercy and compassion of Jesus to all including widows, orphans, fatherless, and the vulnerable.

Meet Our
Leadership
Joy Jeremiah is the Founder of Mercy Seat Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization based in Katy, TX. She resides in Houston, TX, and is originally from Delta-State, Nigeria. Raised by Christian parents, Joy Jeremiah has dedicated her life to serving in various ministries within the Body of Christ.
Launching this work from Africa, our ultimate goal is to expand Mercy Seat Foundation’s global reach, establishing a comprehensive network of care and support for saints worldwide. Mercy Seat Foundation was born out of a deep desire to understand the Lord’s heart and burden for His Body, the Church of Christ, in this present time. Our ministry focuses on extending hospitality and providing for the necessities of saints, particularly orphans, widows, and the fatherless.
As Founder, I am humbled to serve the Lord’s Body through this work. By His mercy, I am committed to caring for His beloved saints globally and being a channel of blessing to His body through His grace.
